Women with Wings
Women with Wings is an uplifting vocal ensemble from Santa Cruz,
California who's sound is rooted in the ancient
wisdom and magic of women singing together in sacred circle. Started by
Heather as a singing circle for women of any experience level, these
women have courageously reclaimed the power and beauty of their voices
and are now offering their healing harmonies to the world!
Women with Wings have shared their voices at The Cayuga Vault, the 418
Project, The Pacific Cultural Center, Inner Light Ministries, The
Center for Conscious Living, and at numerous private parties and
events. They have recently begun doing outreach to the
local women's jail, and homeless shelters. Their first
self-titled album was released in October 2007, and is a collection of
simple songs and chants wihth simple harmonies that everyone can sing

The women that I spoke with last Saturday night were transformed
by Women with Wings. I have never felt them to be open to
expressing their true essence, their loves and passions and desires.
That singing was the catalyst to assist them to transcend the
walls that enclose them. It allowed those women to experience
beauty and hope and a community of loving women. You and Women

Byrne, Elizabeth Crow, Jennaia Greene, Megan Gregan, Tiffanae Luke,
Lydia Neilsen, Michele Robbins, Barbara Jemila Rose, Susie Sakkestad,
Letitia Schwarz, Alison Scott, Kai Siedenburg, and Jaden
Silva-Espinoza. Under the direction of Heather Houston.
